I am a M.S. student at The Pennsylvania State University interested in understanding the ecological and evolutionary biology of animals and their impacts on life history strategies of animals. I am passionate about studying reproduction, phenology, the impact of changing climates and finding management strategies to conserve organisms across taxa.

I earned my B.Sc. in biology at Park University where I participated in an independent research study on riverine turtle species diversity Parkville, MO. While at park I was also a student-athlete playing for the men's basketball team & apart of Park's Student Activates Board. While in undergrad I also participated in a NSF Undergraduate Research Experience program at the University of Toledo, where I studied the spatial ecology of Northern Map Turtles in Lake Erie using satellite telemetry.

For my M.S., I am currently conducting NSF-funded research examining the life-history consequences of insular dwarfism in reptiles on California’s Channel Islands. My goal is to examine differences and similarities in reproductive characteristic between island and mainland populations to understand the impact of dwarfism on these life-history trade-offs.

In my free time I enjoy  exploring the outdoors, whether fishing, hiking, or herping, as well as cooking, working out, and playing basketball.
